The twelve days of Ridván mark the holiest days of the Bahá'í year, and have been termed the "Most Great Festival" and the "King of Festivals" by Bahá'u'lláh himself. This short book draws together a selection of passages from the Bahá'í Sacred Writings which can be used at Holy Day celebrations and other occasions during the Ridván period. The first section presents Tablets specifically revealed by Bahá'u'lláh for Ridván. Then talks and Tablets of 'Abdu'l-Bahá that deal with Ridván, and Shoghi Effendi's account of Bahá'u'lláh's Declaration. Finally, the last section of the book gives three eyewitness accounts to the events in the Garden of Ridván from Bahá'ís who were present at the time. We hope that this compilation will provide a fuller understanding of the Most Great Festival to Bahá'í communities around the world and will become a ready reference to assist with the development of programs for fitting celebrations of these precious days.
