Soldiering
Soldiering, Baha'i Pioneering in Honduras by Christopher Ruhe
Soldiering is an autobiographical account of a youth as a Bahá'í pioneer in Honduras from 1968 to 1973. Christopher Ruhe, a musician and teacher, shares the adventures, adversities, and sweet pleasures of life in his adopted country. Descriptions of other pioneers are included in the account, as well as trips to Israel, Panama, and the USA. The author, an award-winning singer/songwriter, also shares lyrics of his songs and poems. The book serves as an introduction to the Bahá'í Faith, a religion of indomitable optimism.
